I am a PhD student in computer science at the Applied Software Engineering (ISA) research group and the SCORE Unit of Excellence. I hold a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from the University of Seville (Spain).
My research lies at the intersection of Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence. I study how generative AI tools, from language models to autonomous coding agents, are changing the way people learn, research and build software.
I am particularly interested in how developers and AI agents work together in real-world projects. As these tools write a growing share of the code, reviewing and supervising their work takes more and more effort, and I want to understand what makes that collaboration sustainable. My goal is to help AI make software development more productive while keeping people in charge.
